Each product under specifications will clearly be marked if the specific product is a parallel imported product.
What is a Parallel import?
A parallel import is a genuine product imported from another country without the permission of the intellectual property owner. Parallel imported goods will not be covered by the warranty of the manufacturer or its licensed supplier however ZOTO's Returns Policy applies to all items purchased.
Are these products legal?
Parallel goods are sold legitimately in South Africa and are suitable for use in this country. It should not be confused with counterfeit goods. Parallel goods are sold legitimately both locally and worldwide. They may, however, be distinguished by lack of an agreement between the seller and manufacturer/trade mark holder to sell the goods.
If the seller sells the goods despite not having such an agreement, the goods are known as parallel goods.
Warranty
The Warranty will be carried by ZOTO for Parallel imported goods as per the specified Manufacturers Warranty policy.
